This healthy white turkey chili is made with ground turkey, fresh veggies, cannellini beans, and warm spices in a cheesy, creamy broth!
Heat a small amount of oil in a large pot, or grease it with non-stick cooking spray. Then, add the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeños. Sauté just until the onions are translucent.
Add the turkey to the pot, and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, oregano, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook until fragrant.
Stir in the green chile peppers, and cook for an additional few minutes. Then, add the broth and beans, and simmer, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the cream cheese and grated white cheddar cheese until they’re melted and creamy and the chili has thickened. Adjust the seasonings to taste.
Divide your white turkey chili into bowls, and add a sprinkle of fresh cilantro, extra cheese, and a dollop of Greek yogurt or light sour cream!
