How to Make Peanut Butter Banana Baked Oatmeal Bars
- Mix Together Wet Ingredients. Fold together the mashed bananas and peanut butter in a large bowl before adding the vanilla, syrup, and egg. Once combined, pour in the milk and stir together.
- Combine the Dry and Wet Ingredients. Pour the oats, baking powder, sea salt, and cinnamon into the banana and peanut butter mixture and mix together until completely combined.

Instructions
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch square baking pan and set aside.
Combine Wet Ingredients:

Add Dry Ingredients:

Bake:

I’ve also had a failed attempt as a few others have mentioned in their reviews. I used rolled oats (as suggested) and followed the recipe precisely. I also gave extra time in the oven, hoping that the oats might better come together. Unfortunately, the oat bars still came out very mushy. I think the recipe has to be altered to add additional oats and reduce the amount of milk.

Just made them and am eating a square right now. Delicious and so easy to make. My modifications:
Cooked 35 minutes total.
Used extra crunchy peanut butter – itโs what I like and have on hand.
Used honey instead of maple syrup, which I donโt care for.
I did drizzle the peanut butter and used dark chocolate chips. I couldnโt wait for it to cool properly because smelled so good, so a little soft but kept its shape and I ate it with a fork. I think when itโs completely cool it will be perfect. Thanks for a great recipe.

Used the rolled oats and definitely stuck to the measurements (although always a pain converting from cups to grams or ounces.) Weird texture and too crumbly to cut into bars. Maybe British rolled oats are somehow different to US?

The recipe really needs to add some kind of flour so itโs not so mushy/gooey. I split the recipe into 2 pans hoping that would help with the soggy-ness, & even over baked them. It still had a weird goey texture & very messy falling apart

Yuck! Followed directions exactly. No flavor, soggy. Drizzled with peanut butter and tried topping with maple syrup but still bad. We are a family of 10 ages 5-60 and no one liked them enough to get past a bite or two. Wasted time and ingredients. And I am an excellent cook so I know it wasnโt something I did wrong.

These did NOT turn out. Wet soggy sock texture, no sweetness or flavour other than the chocolate chips.. Even left them in the oven for much longer to see if they would ever not be soggy.. an hour later still no.
