Ingredients You’ll Need

For these cinnamon rolls with nuts, we use a secret weapon to make them quick, easy, and basically failproof! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Sugar – Granulated sugar is used to create the syrup used in this recipe. Then, brown sugar is used to create the nut filling.
  • Honey – Helps enhance the sweetness of the syrup and makes it sticky, allowing it to cling to the cinnamon rolls.
  • Heavy Cream – Creates a rich flavor and a smooth, creamy texture.
  • Butter – Unsalted butter makes the syrup buttery, rich, and extra delicious.
  • Nuts – A combination of pistachios and walnuts are added to the center of the cinnamon rolls for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Cinnamon – You can never have too much cinnamon! We use it with the nut filling for a bold sweet taste.
  • Cinnamon Rolls – Using pre-made canned cinnamon rolls is our secret weapon to making this cinnamon rolls with nuts recipe unbelievably easy!

How to Make These Cinnamon Rolls with Nuts

These pistachio walnut cinnamon rolls are quite possibly the easiest breakfast treat you’ll ever make! Here’s what to do:

  1. Create the Syrup. Add the brown sugar, honey, cream, and butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Bring the ingredients to a boil. Then, reduce the heat, and let the syrup simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Filling. In the meantime, combine the nuts, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Fill the Cinnamon Rolls. Unroll the dough, and spoon the nut mixture onto each piece. Carefully rough the dough back up.
  4. Layer. Spoon half the prepared syrup into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Arrange the cinnamon rolls on top, and pour the remaining sauce over the dough followed by the rest of the nut mixture.
  5. Bake. Place the cinnamon rolls in the oven until they’re fluffy and golden brown. Let them stand for 5 minutes, and enjoy them while they’re warm!

How to Store

For the best results, we recommend enjoying these cinnamon rolls right away while they’re still warm. However, if you happen to have leftovers, transfer them to an airtight container, and store them in the fridge for up to 1 week

When you’re ready to eat, simply pop them in the microwave to warm them up!

    1. Hi. I love your recipes. Iโ€™m confused on this one. The baking dish is a 9×9 but for 20/24 rolls wouldnโ€™t you use a 9 or 10×13?

      1. Hi! We typically use 10 cinnamon rolls. ๐Ÿ˜Š You’ll definitely need a larger baking dish if you use more!

    1. It will be okay but may be slightly soggier. For the best results, we recommend baking the same day!

  1. Just a question — I see 9 rolls in the pan but 2 Grands = 10 total. Then the servings state 24. I’m confused by all of these differing numbers. Can you clarify? Thanks!!

    1. Hi! We typically use 10 cinnamon rolls – just ran out of room for the last one in the pan pictured. With all the other ingredients, the serving size is 24 (but can be adjusted depending on how hungry you are)! Hope this helps. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. The hyperlink to print the recipe doesn’t work. It redirects back to the top of the page. Any chance that could be fixed? I like to print and store recipes that I like in a notebook. Thanks!

      1. What do you mean to roll out the rolls then to roll them back again ? I was kind of confused . So instead I just added each roll over the syrup just as they come out of the can and added the nut mixture and rest of syrup on top .

        1. We just mean to unravel the rolls, fill them, and then roll them back up into spirals. We hope you still enjoyed the recipe, Maria!

          Xo,
          Alia & Radwa
