Baked Salmon with Za'atar and Avocado Salsa

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets without skin
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons zaatar
  • Cracked black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Egyptian avocado salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.

  • Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.

  • Sprinkle the za'atar evenly over each fillet.

  • Season with cracked black pepper and salt to taste.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once the salmon is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Spoon the Egyptian avocado salsa over each salmon fillet.
