Hi, I love the flavors in this recipe, but every time I cook it the pan gets rather “wet” – the marinade or something similar bubbles all over and prevents me from getting a good sear on the chicken. I always have to then transfer the half-cooked chicken to a new pan to get the sear. What could be the problem here? Any advice is appreciated – the chicken remains moist and tender either way, it’s just frustrating.

Made this for dinner…we pan fried some chicken and also put two pieces inside the air fryer. Both came out so good. Although the air fryer chicken came out juicier than yhe pan fried. We put the chicken over a hearty salad: black beans, corn, cucumber, purple onion. sweet peppers, pepitas, dried cranberries and mixed salad greens…topped with avocado oil and it was a huge hit!
