  2. Boil. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil, and add a pinch of salt and potatoes. Turn off the heat, and let the potatoes soak before draining the water and drying them off. 
  3. Season. In a large bowl, add the potatoes, and drizzle the olive oil on top. Sprinkle the seasonings over the potatoes, and toss to make sure they are completely coated. 
  4. Air Fry. Add the potato wedges to a preheated air fryer, and cook until tender.

  1. Slice your potatoes in half lengthwise. 
  2. Place the potato on a cutting board, sliced side down. Slice it in half again, lengthwise. Repeat with the other half.

Za’tar Air Fryer Potato Wedges are crisp on the outside, tender in the center, and perfectly seasoned. Ready in less than 30 minutes, they’re the best crowd-pleasing appetizer, snack, or side dish!

Ingredients  

  • 4 gold potatoes sliced into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons + 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon za’atar seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Instructions 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash the potatoes. Cut each potato in half, lengthwise. Cut each half in half, lengthwise. Slice each piece in half one more time to form wedges. Using a sharp knife, carefully score the potatoes. Do not slice all the way through!

  • In a large pot over high heat, bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons of salt and potatoes. Turn off the heat, and let the potatoes sit for 5 minutes. Drain the potatoes, and dry them off really well.
    2 teaspoons + 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • Place the potatoes in a large bowl, and drizzle the olive oil on top. Toss to coat. Sprinkle the seasonings on top of the potatoes, and toss again to coat.
    3 Tablespoons olive oil, 1 Tablespoon za’atar seasoning, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
