- Prepare the Potatoes. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, removing any debris. Then, slice them into wedges, and score them carefully. Make sure not to slice all the way through!
- Boil. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil, and add a pinch of salt and potatoes. Turn off the heat, and let the potatoes soak before draining the water and drying them off.
- Season. In a large bowl, add the potatoes, and drizzle the olive oil on top. Sprinkle the seasonings over the potatoes, and toss to make sure they are completely coated.
- Air Fry. Add the potato wedges to a preheated air fryer, and cook until tender.
How to Slice Potatoes Into Wedges
If you’re not sure how to cut potatoes into wedges, don’t worry! It’s really easy. Here’s how:
- Slice your potatoes in half lengthwise.
- Place the potato on a cutting board, sliced side down. Slice it in half again, lengthwise. Repeat with the other half.
- Flip the potatoes over (face side up), and cut down the center of each quarter to create wedges.
- Repeat until all your potatoes have been cut.

Ingredients
- 4 gold potatoes sliced into wedges
- 2 teaspoons + 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon za’atar seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Wash the potatoes. Cut each potato in half, lengthwise. Cut each half in half, lengthwise. Slice each piece in half one more time to form wedges. Using a sharp knife, carefully score the potatoes. Do not slice all the way through!4 gold potatoes

- Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
